The Wallace Gee Building is a 50,000 square foot facility housing college administration, student services, financial services, the college’s main library, and a historical museum honoring Kerr and Robert Scott, past governors of North Carolina who resided in Alamance County. The building was a high-performance pilot project for the North Carolina Community College System, and the design incorporates numerous environmentally friendly and energy-saving features. Cost savings realized during construction enabled the college to construct a new $300,000 parking lot on the south side of the building using unused contingencies.
