This 20-acre lakefront development located on the south side of Rural Hall was donated to the Town of Rural Hall by the Covington family. The original construction was funded by the U. S. Department of the Interior’s Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). The park contains a lakefront walking/exercise trail, shelters with restrooms and an outdoor stone fireplace, tot lot, baseball/softball field, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and outdoor volleyball court, and a new parking area.
